Ever since the announcement of the Special Edition Chinese New Year themed sets, the LEGO scene in Asia has not only left folks excited but also flurried for both the 80101 Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner and 80102 Dragon Dance.
We have just got word from a reliable source that there will be replenishments (for the Singapore Market) in Toys 'R Us, LCS Stores (LEGO Certified Stores) and departmental stores in various batches throughout mid January, end January and mid February. We however can't comment on the also sought after Year of the Pig 40186 availability as it seems that these too have run out. It was originally a Gift with Purchase (GWP) for purchases above SGD $80 and slated to be on promotion till 31st of January.
Having said that, there will be a special Lion Dance Gift (another GWP) till end of the month for purchases above SGD 228 but with a catch. Purchases has to be of non-Lunar New Year themed assortments.
